On Thursday, April 24, the Coombsville Vintners and Growers were pleased to present a special masterclass on Cabernet Franc at the Napa Valley Wine Academy. Coombsville Cabernet Franc! It’s a Thing was hosted by Master of Wine Mark de Vere. During the two-hour seminar, wine lovers got to indulge in a diverse selection of labels, each with its unique story and flavor profile, and hear from some of the region’s most esteemed vintners, including John Caldwell, owner of Caldwell Vineyard, Rudy Zuidema, winemaker at Shadybrook Estate Winery, and Ely McElroy, estate manager of Favia Wines.
